Heavy Equipment Operator

          Dubois Construction is seeking a safety-minded, qualified, team-oriented individual who is interested in operating various pieces of Construction equipment. The selected candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient and proper operation of various pieces of equipment including but not limited to: Excavator, Dozer, grader, roller and loader. Duties will also include routine maintenance and cleaning of the machines

Classification: Seasonal hourly position.

Requirements:
• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe working environment.
• Must display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers and the public.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights.
• The willingness to travel to other Project locations throughout Vermont when needed.
• A valid driver’s license.

Project Superintendent

          Dubois Construction is seeking a safety minded, highly motivated, self-starter to manage, schedule, track costs, and oversee single or multiple Site work and road construction projects throughout Vermont. Responsibilities include but not limited to: scheduling, cost control and tracking, communication and the ability to assist with traffic control when needed. The right candidate should have a background in drainage, grades, layout, figuring quantities, and trucking. Knowledge in the use of GPS layout and grade control is a benefit but not required.

Classification: Year-round weekly salary.

Requirements:
• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to three years of related experience and/or training; or                equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years prior experience in site work and road construction.
• The ability to work effectively in a high pressure, multi-tasking environment.
• Manage administrative duties in a timely manner and be able to work independently.
• The willingness to travel to other project locations throughout Vermont when needed.
• Extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights.
• A valid driver’s license.

Construction Foreperson

          Dubois Construction is seeking a safety minded, qualified leader to be the Foreperson for a site work crew. The selected candidate should be familiar with all aspects of site work and road construction operations and must have the ability to effectively lead and manage a crew in the field. This candidate should have a background in drainage, grades, layout, figuring quantities, and trucking. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; working knowledge and thorough understanding of job estimating, specification and operating procedures, assisting in crew conflict resolution, participating with the employee evaluation process, training new hires, and coordinating crew logistics.

Classification: Seasonal weekly salary.

Requirements:
• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.
• Strong mathematical skills, computer skills and the ability to manage administrative duties in a timely manner.
• Must display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers and the public.
• Must be flexible to work extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights.
• The willingness to travel to other project locations throughout Vermont when needed.
• A valid driver’s license.
